So far, Jack and Praiseworthy have met many shady characters... but who do you think is the most villainous and why? :) Be sure to give examples from the book to support why you think the characters you chose is the worst villain of them all.

I think Cut-Eye Higins is very villinous because he said the road agents took the map but they didn't he lied, Higins has Dr.Buckbee's gold map.
I think Cut-Eye Higgins is very villainous because he stole the gold map from Dr. Buckbee. He also lied to Praiseworthy and Jack and told them that the map was inside the lining of his coat. He is sa liar, and can get away with anything because most people think he is an expert at pulling out teeth, but he really isn't; he does it all for money and he's a cheapskate.
I wish to Jack and Praiseworthy good luck in finding the gold map from cut-Eye Higgins! ☺

I think Cut-Eye Higgins is the most villainous because he stole Dr. Buckbee's map and lied to Jack and Praiseworthy about where the map really was. He said he sewed it to his coat, but he really had it with him.

I think that Cut-Eye Higgins the most villainous so far. He has stolen the map fromm Dr. Buckbee, and lied to Praisworthy and Jack, saying that the map was sewed in his coat pocket, the same coat that the road agents took from him. In the end it never was in his pocket, and Jack discovers that Cut-Eye Higgins he was lying the whole entire time, he still had the map with him.
It's not only that, though. Once you think about it, he always lies. The problem is he gets away with it because no one wants to challenge him because he looks to hard to challenge. Hopefully in the end, Jack and Praisworthy will finally get the gold map, and find a whole bunch of gold in the gold fields.
I think that cut-eye- hagans is the villin because he kills lots of people and all of the boys dont now that he is a villen.
I think that Bullwhip is the meanest character because he acts like a smoker #23

I think that Cut Eye Higgins is the worst villian of all. I think that because he first was running away and trying to hide his identity. Then he stole Dr.Buckbee's map. Later they fnd him going as a dentist. "It was Cut Eye Higgins" in the book it says. He was going on to be adentist and steal more.

I think Cut-Eye Higgins is the most villainous because he lied to Jack and praisworthy and said that the map was inside the lining of his coat and I think it is bad that he stole the map from Dr.Buckbee and that he would lie and say the road agents stole the gold map not him.
That is why I think Cut-Eye higgins is the villainous of all the characters and I hope Jack and Praiseworthy get the golden map!

Also he lied by saying that he was a dentist and thats is lieing and just selfish and mean. Only someone as villinous as Cut-Eye Higins would do such a thing. Thats who I think is the most villinous.

I think that Cut-Eye Higins is very sneaky beacuase he told Praisworthy that the map that he stole from Dr.Buckbee was sewed in the lineing of his jacket.But when Jack met the man who stole it the man gave thel jacket back to Jack then Jack went home and told Praisworthy he had th e jacket so they ripped it open but the map wasn't there.

I think Cut-Eye Higgins is the evilist of all the characters in the story so far. I think he is the most evil in the story so far because in the beginning of the story, Cut-Eye Higgins steals Jack and Prtaisworthy's money, making them have to sneak on board and work in the coal bunkers. Also, later in the story he steals Dr. Buckbee's gold map, which was very important to him.
I also agree with #21 because I think lying is also very evil!

I think that the most villany character is cut-eye higgins because his job was to hang people and that he was just flat out creepy.
I think the most villinous character is pretty much Cut Eye Higgins. He does the most stuff that sets them back all of the time. Like when he said that thjey were too late when the road agents stole his coat, he lied and said that the map was sowed inside the linen of the coat. He also stole Dr. Buckbee's map and was going to be a dentist that specializes in pulling gold teeth. He is definately a shady character and he is very bad. He does horible things in the story. Also, he pretends to be the judge on the journey around the horn.

I think that the meanest person is cut eye higins beecause he lied to jack.He also took somthing he shood not take.Like one time he took dr. buckbees gold map.
