In Chapter 11, we meet another interesting character: Pitch Pine Billy Pierce. Of all the characters you've read about in the Great Horn Spoon, which one has been your favorite? Choose one character in the book and describe them by discussing three of their characteristics, and what happened in the story that made you decsribe them in this way. For example, I think that Praiseworthy is very brave, because nothing ever makes him worried in the story, even when he's faced with road agents or people shooting his washpan out of his hands. I think that praisworthy is my favorite character because like the example said, he is very brave. like the time that bandits had them cornered with guns pointed at everyone, praisworthy didn't fear them one bit. infact, praisworthy punched the bandits right in the face. another example, when the lady wilma was about to leave without jack and praisworthy, praisworhty didn't worry at all while jack was really worried.
my favorite charecter is Praisworthy. What I like abot Praisworty is that his charecter is funny and he acts clean he also looks out for Jack.In by The Great Horn Spoon some ways that Praisworty shows that.......#1
I think that there are not alot of things that upset Praiseworthy that much beacause even though he was robbed by those weird dudes on the road, he didn't get scared or upset, except when they tried to steal the picturre of Aunt Arabella. This also shows that he cares for her. Also, he wants her to remain able to stay in the house she is living in. I think he cares for other people alot too. For example, he couldn't not help the guy that was following them around that always said "ruination!" and needed a haircut. I think Praiuseworthy was a brave and generous character and he was my favorite.
my favrite chacter is Jack because hes young. Most kids can't go on ship for aloung time. He is also veary barve for a youngen.
One character that I like in the story is Praisworthy. What I like about Praisworthy is that even when everyone around him in the mining camps are dirty and don't really care what they look like, (because there's no women) Praisworthy still tries to look clean, fancy, and nice. I think this because in the story, he says, "We'll be on tomorrows riverboat, I promise you,now I suggest we wash up as best as we can."
This proves that even after they had traveled so far, Praisworthy still though about what he looked like.

One of my favorite characters is Praisworthy. He is brave, helpfull, responsible, and strong. He is brave because he wasn't scared of the robbers when they came to steal their gold,money, and etc. He is helpfull because he saved lucky by puting the umbrella infront of the pig to give Jack time to push Lucky out of the window. He is responsible because he takes care of Jack. He is strong because he knocked a robber 15 feet high.
Jack is my favorite character because he is always so curious about everything:). He is really brave to go on a ship and sail all the way from Boston to CA just to find gold.☺ Jack is always trying his best to be in the group so that's why he accepted the nickname Jamoka Jack, even if he hates coffee. He would take as much gold as possible because he is so involved in gold fever.

Our favorite character is Cut-Eye Higgins we like Cut-Eye Higgins because he is a robber and a doctor that extracts gold teeth and he is old and he is pretty cool we also think his dueling pistol is awesome and its cool that he stole the map and that he has a jipijapa hat.

My favorite character is Praiseworthy because he is a good guardian because he watches over Jack. Like in the story he wanted to take Jack to a great hotel and a great city.

My favorite character is Jack. Why? Well, because I think he's brave, caring, and daring. He's brave because he went on ship, and he wasn't a normal passenger, he was a stowaway! He is caring because he went to California for his Aunt Arabella, he is trying to make it so his aunt doesn't have to sell her house and all her belongings. Jack is truly my favorite.
My favorite character is Praisworthy becuase he is strong because he punched a big fella 10feet uphill, and he is very polite and he is brave because someone shot a washpan out of his hand...
My favorite character is Cut-eye Higgins because he is a sneaky robber. He is awsome because he knows how to run and hide from people, like when he stole the map from Jack and Praiseworthy. That is why Cut-eye Higgins is my favorite character.

He is atrong because he punched a highway man several feet.He is brave because he was not afraid to go on the journey.He is trustworthy because did not tell Jack's aunt that jack was going to California.This is why phraiseworthy is my favorite character.

he has no feer.for example he was not afraid when he was robed on the way to hang town.
wMy favorite character is Praiseworthy because he is so brave and is never is scared what is goiung to happen to him he is always looking on the bright side never on the dull side for example when the robbers where robbing his bog he was not afraid to take a punch at the guy that was robbing him and he did because he was brave he punched that guy 15 feet up the Mountain. He is always looking out for Jack whenever he is scared.

I think that Praiseworthey has really changed beacause at first he was elegent and niceley groomed but now that he has lost his hat and jacket he looks and acts different.I can't belive that praiseworthey actually hit some one in the face just beacause of the picture of Jacks aunt.

I think Jamoka Jack {Jack} was scared of the reformed road agent because he thought he was going to die or robbed.

I think the worst villan is Cut-Eye Higins because he stoll all the money. Then he stoll the map of all the mining camps. I know because in the book the horse doctor said that he stoll it
